United Church Women (UCW)

The UCW membership consists of three units which meet once a month with the exception of July and August. In June and December everyone meets together for a pot luck meal and general meeting.

The units meet as follows:
Unit 1 - second Wednesday at 1:30 pm
Unit 2 - second Tuesday at 1:30 pm
Unit 4 - second Monday at 2 pm

The individual units plan their own worship and programs which may include speakers, videos or "care and share" themes. Each meeting includes a time of fellowship and refreshments.

The members work together on projects during the year such as the annual Holly Tea and Bazaar and catering to church-related functions and funeral receptions.

The UCW collects Campbell's soup labels for sports equipment and computers for schools. Postage stamps, used greeting cards and eyeglasses are also collected. A birthday rose is taken to members of the congreation who are celebrating their 85th or over birthday.

Anyone who would like to participate in any of our meetings or programs is welcome.
