As we move forward on our journey to sponsor the family of Heba Kaerdi's brother: Hosam Kaerdi, Amneh Abdullah and their children Abdul Elah, Maryam Husam and Afdularoof, we offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who have donated or pledged to donate towards this family's sponsorship.

We are proud and cautiously optimistic to report that we have submitted the sponsorship documents to the United Church of Canada as a first step in the process we hope will lead to them being approved to come to Canada as refugees. Our application is now in the queue!
