Our Music

Praising God through musicianship and community

About Trinity's Music Program

Since 1824, when the first Methodist church was built on this site, music has played a large role in the life of this congregation. We can proudly say that almost 200 years later, music is still a vital aspect of our worship and church community.

Here at Trinity, we love to sing! Each worship service provides opportunities for the congregation to sing together accompanied by the organ, piano or other instruments. We also have a rich variety of musical groups that rehearse weekly and assist in leading worship.

Chancel Choir

Under the direction of Minister of Music, Dr. Debbie Fingas, The Trinity Chancel Choir has grown to over 25 skilled singers. The choir sings choral music from a wide variety of musical styles. They rehearse weekly on Thursday nights and sing during worship every Sunday September to June. We offer flexible participation and all voice types are welcome to join.

Rehearsal time: Thursdays at 7:30-9:00 PM

Joyful Noise

And our youth programs do more than just sing! They are given lots of opportunities to make use of our handbells and chimes, drums, orff instruments and show off their acting skills in our annual Mother's Day musical. Both Choirs rehearse during the school year on Thursdays. We are always thrilled to welcome new members!
