Volunteer opportunities
Whether this is your first year with Trinity or your 60th, we invite you to contribute your time and gifts to God's service and the service of our congregation. Every volunteer, from youth working towards 40 service hours, to retirees looking for a church family, is welcome to contribute in the following important committees and roles.
Become a Sunday School Teacher
Our children are provided high quality Christian Education only by the care and passion of our teachers. Lesson plans and curriculum are provided and a rotation cycle is used. To sign up, email Kristiane Black at kblack@trinitycobourg.ca
Become a Scripture Reader
Our Scripture is often read by congregants and volunteers. if you would like to be put on our list of scripture readers, please email Kristiane Black at kblack@trinitycobourg.ca
Join a Musical Ensemble
The gifts of our congregation is truly showcase through our music. Most ensembles rehearse once a week and perform about once a month. If you want to sign up for an ensemble, or would like to occasionally play something else during a service, email Debbie Fingas at dfingas@trinitycobourg.ca
Become a Substitute Live Streamer
Our AVRT tech sometimes needs a day off or a last-minute substitute. Volunteers who are trained with the equipment are essential to keeping the service available to our online audience. To sign up to be a substitute, email roger@halligan.ca
Help with our Coffee Hour
Following worship on Sunday morning, we offer a time of refreshment and conversation at our coffee hour. Cookies and beverages are served as folks in the congregation have a chance to connect. If you would like to help out with hosting and providing cookies for a Sunday, please contact the church office.
